With one of Europe’s most stylish and up-market shows of classic cars, Rétromobile, and no fewer than three major auctions, you won’t know where to stop!
The first week in February is fast becoming to Paris what Pebble Beach is to California in August.
With one of Europe’s most stylish and up-market shows of classic cars, Rétromobile, and no fewer than three major auctions, you won’t know where to stop! You’ll find information on Rétromobile on pages 20-21 of the guide, as well as details of the auctions by Artcurial (page 35) and Bonhams (page 39), the latter held in the wonderful setting of the Grand Palais. Enjoy a look ahead to Artcurial’s sale of the amazing collection of cars amassed by Roger Baillon, including an outstanding Ferrari 250 GT California Spider, in the video below, as well as the photos recalling some of the highlights from last year’s show.
The author of France: the essential guide for car enthusiasts, Julian Parish, will be posting regular updates from Paris throughout the week on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DriveGuideGuru) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/DriveGuideGuru), so check online for the latest news! And if you are lucky enough to be attending the show, Julian will be presenting the guide on the MG Club de France stand (F92) from 7 PM on Friday 6 February.
